I feel icky... Hello everybody and happy new year! How did you spend your new years? Not full of some mystery bug I hope.

Fist up, I sincerely apologise for missing the first update of the year. It probably won't be the only one.

Me and Jess both came down with some flu-like thing (the flu maybe?) just after Christmas and although we are mostly over it, I think, I can't really talk at the moment having almost entirely lost my voice and I'm extremely tired and worn out.

(@_@) <---- me

Anyway, as a result of feeling like someone just shoved me in a tumble drier, turned it on and then shoved the rumble drier down the stairs updates might be a little more erratic than usual around here.

I'll draw when I feel up to it, but no more than that. Still, I'm ahead of Megatokyo and Dresden Codak for updates this year. :P

In other news there is an RSS feed which was kindly pointed out to me.

I completely forgot there was one of those.

Also this page carries a reader challenge (cue dramatic music!).

Name the song the band are finishing off. There are some clues to go with this question:

It was released in June 1977 by a UK band that managed to record one proper studio album and then spectacularly explode on tour in the US.

Despite this some of the band released a follow up record most famous for a cover sung by the bassist. The bassist in question was originally known as Simon John Ritchie.

They also seem to have more live albums than any band in history despite being together only a couple of years (not including reunions).

Can you name the song?
Go on! Give it a go. :)

I'm going to have a nice Blackcurrant flavour lemsip now...
